Acting on the complaint, food safety officials visited the store and conducted an inspection. During the inspection, officials found packets containing broken eggs and instructed the store authorities to remove them immediately.

The officials also decided to temporarily close and seal the store’s storage room to facilitate thorough cleaning and ensure proper hygiene in the area where food items are stored.

Officials said a notice would be issued to Blinkit, directing the company to submit an appropriate explanation regarding the incident.
