Udupi: Young woman goes missing; complaint lodged

Udupi, October 4, 2023: A young girl has gone missing from her rented residence in the Badagubettu grama Beedinagudde area of Udupi taluk. A complaint has been filed with Udupi City Police, sparking concerns for her safety and well-being.

Pooja missing

The missing girl, identified as Jayashree Rathod, also known as Pooja, left her residence on October 1 and has not returned since. She is described as being approximately five feet four inches tall with a slim physique, wheatish complexion, and a long face. She is known to converse fluently in both Kannada and Lambani languages.

Udupi City Police have issued a press note through the local police department urging anyone with information about Jayashree Rathod’s whereabouts to come forward and assist in the search efforts. Residents and community members are encouraged to contact the police inspector to provide any relevant information that may aid in locating the missing girl.
