Udupi: Young man dies after bike skids in Manipal

Udupi, January 10, 2026: A 36-year-old man was killed after his motorcycle skidded near Lakshmi Nagar in Manipal late on Friday night, January 9.
The victim has been identified as Praveen Shetty, a resident of Budnar in Indiranagar. He was traveling from Udupi toward Manipal when the accident occurred.
Praveen, who was involved in multiple businesses including real estate, had married about a year and a half ago following a long-term relationship. The incident falls under the jurisdiction of the Manipal Police Station.
