Mangalore, Feb 23, 2012: Interacting with reporters at the helipad, CM D. V. Sadananda Gowda said that the state administration has remained unaffected by certain recent incidents. The chief minister had arrived at Mangalore to participate in the 30th annual convocation of Mangalore University.
When journalists questioned him about the trouble caused by B. S. Yeddyurappa, the former chief minister of Karnataka, he said that, although there are trivial issues existing in the party, there is no need to give importance to Yeddyurappa holding a meeting with some of his MLA followers.
Calling the former chief minister’s meeting as “a lunch party,” he said that it was planned well in advance and that he wouldn’t have minded participating in it himself.
Stating that the citizen charter will be implemented and concluded by March 1, he said that he is quite confident about completing his term as the chief minister of Karnataka.
