Special Garib Rath trains for the festive season

Mangalore, December 12: Garib Rath special trains are operated during this festive winter season to deal with the rush in the Chennai – Mangalore sector, stated a release from Palghat division.

According to the release, train no. 06667 Chennai Central to Mangalore Central Garib Rath Special will leave Chennai Central at 8.40 pm on December 22, Dec 29, and January 5 and will arrive at Mangalore Central at 1.45 p.m. the next day.

Train number 06668 Mangalore Central to Chennai Central Garib Rath special will leave Mangalore Central at 4.20 pm on December 23, Dec 30, and January 6 and arrive at Chennai Central at 9.20 am the next day.

Each train has 13 A/C 3-tier coaches and two generator-cum-guard vans. The trains give stops at Arakkonam, Katpadi, Jolarpettai, Salem, Erode, Tiruppur, Coimbatore Junction, Palakkad, Shoranur, Kuttipuram, Tirur, Kozhikkode, Quilandy, Vadakara, Mahe, Thalassery, Kannur, Payyanur, Cheruvattur, Kanhangad and Kasaragod. T.No.06668 will also stop at Perambur.
