Mangaluru, Nov 06, 2023: Post-monsoon showers have gained strength in the coastal region. On Sunday, several parts of DK and Udupi district received good rainfall.

Rains accompanied by thunder and lightning were reported from Mangaluru, Puttur, Kadaba, Sullia, Beltangady, Moodbidri and other places.

In Udupi district too, Manipal, Padubidri, Kaup, Katapady, Udyavar, Brahmavar, Kota, Saligrama, Karkala, Hebri and other places received good rainfall.

The Weather Department has declared Yellow alert from November 6 to 8.

In Kuvettu village, a house was damaged due to lightning strike.
