Sawad murder case: Cops arrest four more accused

Bantwal, July 11, 2023: Bantwal Police have arrested four more persons in connection with the murder of Sawad.

Those arrested are Dawood Amir, Abdul Rahij of Manchi, Afridi and Mohammad Irshad of Kavalamudur. Already police have arrested two persons in this case.  With the arrest of the four on Sunday, the total arrests have risen to six.

All the four accused have been produced before the court and handed over to police custody.

A dispute over ganja peddling had reportedly led to the murder. The accused had dumped the body of the victim near Devaramane tourist spot.
