Puttur, Nov 02, 2021: A scooterist lost his life in a collision between his scooter and a car  at Kodineeru in Narimogaru village on the Puttur-Subrahmanya  road on November 1, Monday.

The deceased is Somashekhar Rai of Peramogaru in Bantwal taluk. He was heading towards Puttur when the car which was proceeding towards Savanoor, hit him.  Social worker Arun Kumar Puttila assisted in taking the injured scooterist in his car upto Mukwe from where an ambulance shifted him to hospital. However, he had breathed his last by then.
