Prostitution racket : House at Herga raided; 2 arrested

Udupi, Oct 04, 2023: Police who raided a house at Saralebettu in Herga village have taken two into custody on the charges of running a prostitution racket.
The raid followed a definite tip off. Those arrested are Shivaraj (38) of Mandya and Ningappa Ambigera (29) of Bagalkote. Another accused Naveen Gowda managed to escape.
Police have seized two mobile phones and cash of Rs 15000 from the accused who were reportedly forcibly pushing girls into the flesh trade.
