Mangaluru, May 30, 2024: Preparations are in full swing for the counting of votes polled for the Lok Sabha elections in Dakshina Kannada constituency. Counting is scheduled to be held on June 4.

The fate of the nine candidates who contested in the elections held on April 26, is sealed in the EVMs which are securely placed in the strong room.

The EVMs along with the ballot boxes comprising postal votes have been placed in the strong room at NITK Suratkal amid tight security. The district had recorded 78.02 polling percentage.
