Mangaluru, May 03, 2021:      A free ambulance service provided by the Mulki-Moodbidri Block Congress Committee for the benefit of Covid patients was  inaugurated at the District Congress Office premises on  May 3, Monday  in the presence of Congress leader  Abhayachandra Jain and former district Congress chief and present   party in-charge of Mulki-Moodbidri, Mithun Rai.

Jain said the ambulance with oxygen facility will be stationed at Shirthady. He said he has personally contributed Rs  50,000 for the cause and an equal amount has been donated by businessman Sripathi Acharya and  Moodbidri Samaja mandir authorities.  CH Medicals have assisted in oxygen cylinder installation while Sauharda Friends Club will operate the ambulance, he said.
