Muhurat of Tulu movie ’Oriyan Thoonda Oriyag Aapuji’ held

Mangalore, Dec 11, 2013: The muhurat of Tulu movie ’Oriyan Thoonda Oriyag Aapuji’ produced under the banner of Sri Mangala Ganesh Combines was held at Mangaladevi Temple premises on December 11, Wednesday.

The first muhurat clap was given by State forest minister and Dakshina Kannada district in-charge B Ramanath Rai.

 

 

 

 

Speaking after inaugurating the stage programme, Rai said that the people of tulunadu must support and encourage the tulu film directors to produce more number of films.

He also said that during his college days, he used to pair with movie director Gangadhar as husband wife in many dramas.

The muhurat for the new Tulu movie ’Oriyan Thoonda Oriyag Aapuji’, the first produced by Gangadhar Shetty and Ashok Kumar under the banner of Sri Mangala Ganesh Combines, was held at Managaldevi Temple premises here on Wednesday, December 11.

Udayavani marketing head Anand K said that two new producers have made an effort to bring out a tulu movie; hence it is the responsibility of tulunad people to give importance and recognition to the tulu film industry.

Mangaladevi temple administrator Ramanath Hegde, Bantara Yaane Nadavara Mathr Sangha president Ajith Kumar Rai Maladi, Namma Tv director Shivasharan Shetty, corporator Premanand Shetty, Ha Su Rajashekar, Kishore D Shetty, Suresh Mangaluru, Arjun Kapikad, Prajwal Pooviah, Nagesh Achar, producers Gangadhra Shetty and Ashok Kumar were present on the dais.
