Mangaluru: Thief steals gold chain in Koppalakadu, escapes after changing clothes

Mangaluru, December 26, 2025: A daring theft occurred yesterday evening around 6:30 PM in Koppalakadu near Konchadi, Mangaluru, when a thief stole a gold chain from a woman. The incident, captured on CCTV, shows the thief entering the house compound, jumping over the wall, and fleeing the scene.
The thief went a short distance, changed clothes to avoid recognition, and disappeared. The stolen chain weighed approximately three and a half pounds.
Police from Urva Station visited the site to investigate and examine the situation.
