Belthangady: Two injured as car and scooter collide head-on near Maddadka

Belthangady, Jun 5, 2026: A car and a scooter were involved in a head-on collision near Maddadka-Varakade on Thursday, leaving the riders injured. Both vehicles reportedly plunged into a roadside drain following the impact.
According to reports, the scooter was travelling from Belthangady towards Madanthyar, while the car was coming from the opposite direction towards Belthangady. The two vehicles collided head-on, causing both to veer off the road and fall into a roadside drain.
Local residents rushed the injured riders to a nearby hospital, where they are undergoing treatment.
Both vehicles sustained damage in the accident.
