Mangaluru, June 2, 2025: A fire mishap has been reported at an apartment near Rao and Rao Circle on Monday morning.
The fire was noticed during the early hours in a flat on the second floor. Pandeshwar fire service personnel who rushed to the spot doused the fire. All furniture and electronic equipment were gutted in the fire. The loss has been estimated at Rs 75000.
Some students were residing in the flat. A short circuit in the heater is suspected to have ignited the fire. No one was injured in the mishap.
