Belthangady, June 3, 2025: Police investigating the case of murder of Abdul Rahiman at Koltamajalu on Monday evening, brought two prime accused in the case for a spot inquest at four locations in Belthagnady.

The arrested persons Deepak (21) of Kuriyala in Bantwal and Sumith Acharya (27) of Tenkabellur in Bantwal were taken to a shop in Guruvayanakere, a mobile store at Santhekatte and near the Belthangady Mooru Marga and near the banks of Nidigal river in Ujire for spot inquest.

The accused duo after the murder had travelled towards Belthangady and had purchased a raincoat at a shop at Guruvayanakere and purchased an ejector for sim removal at a mobile shop at Santhekatte. They then removed their mobile sim and threw it in a drain near Mooru Marga and later discarded their mobile phones in the river at Nidigal in Kalmanja village before fleeing towards Chikkamagaluru.
