Mangaluru: Duo apprehended for theft of house valuables

Mangaluru, April 6, 2024: Two individuals have been apprehended by Bajpe police in connection with the theft of valuables valued at Rs 1.4 lakh from the residence of K. Yuvaraj Acharya in Badaga Edapadavu Tiplebettu.
The arrested individuals are Ravi Shetty (55), a resident of Urkibettu Jwaara Mane in Badaga Edapadavu, and Shivaprasad Shetty (29), who resides in Kallasanka, Todar village, Moodbidri.
The theft, which occurred on April 3, involved stolen items such as cables, a fan, and damage to the house’s door and window due to a broken lock. The police have successfully recovered all the stolen valuables.
The police operation, spearheaded by Inspector Nandishwar B. Kumbara of Bajpe police station, also included the diligent efforts of PSI Gurappa Kanti, Revana Siddappa, Ravi N N, Shobha R., ASI Rama Poojary, and head-constables Sujan, Purushottama, Rasheed, Devappa Hosamani, Basavaraj Patil, and Prakash Chidananda.
