Mangaluru: After suffering from severe head ache, young dentist dies in sleep

Mangaluru, April 17, 2024: A young dentist who had complained of severe head ache has died in her sleep at her PG accommodation at Pandeshwar in Mangaluru on Monday night.

The deceased is Swathi Shetty (24), daughter of Jyothi Shetty and Ramanna Shetty Alvarabettu, a senior leader of RSS  of Naringana village.

 

Jyothi who had pursued dentistry at AJ Hospital in Mangaluru was supposed to join a clinic at Pandeshwar on Tuesday. Therefore she had left home on Monday evening and stayed at a PG accommodation. The same night she had spoken to her parents over mobile phone when she had reportedly disconnected the call after some time saying she had a severe head ache.

However she was unresponsive in the morning and was rushed to Wenlock where doctors declared her dead.

She has left behind her parents and a brother.
