Peter Springsteen’s comment is as ridiculous as it is libelous – of course Kelvin Thomson’s postal vote letter was compliant with AEC guidelines. Shilpa Hedge is standing for the cruel and tricky Liberal Party which has just cut $A 4 billion from our aid budget to fund idiotic new road projects. Indian children will suffer and die as a result of this cut to Australia’s foreign aid budget to India. The Liberals will also cut our humanitarian refugee intake from 20,000 to 6,000 per year forcing Tamil refugees fleeing Sri Lanka back home where they face an uncertain future.

HEY! just told to me by my brother in Melbourne. Letter from Kelvin Thomson to tout for a labor vote and included a postal vote form [ application for postal vote ] with a return address, postage paid, to the LABOR OFFICE NOT THE AEC as with your flyer. This is a direct violation of the electoral commission guidelines and they should be prosecuted for it. Get weaving darling cause it leaves it open to electoral fraud by sending information to a third vested interest party
