Mangalore, Oct 17, 2013 : A fishing boat with five fishermen on board capsized near Thotta Bengre in Tannir Bavi area on Thursday morning, Ocober 17, 2013.

The fishermen on board ’Manisagar’trawler managed to swim ashore when it capsized due to rough weather. The trawler owner Kishan Chandan was also on board of the vessel when it capsized. The fishing vessel said to completed damaged and the loss could be a few lakhs.
 

Those escaped from the mishap are Kishan Chandan,the owner of the Trawler, Narasimha, Kiran and two others.Panambur police is investigating the case.
