Man collapses to death after alleged assault by veterinarian

Belthangady, May 14, 2024: A man died after he was allegedly assaulted by a veterinarian at Kokkada on May 13, Monday.
The deceased is Krishna alias Kitta (55) of Patrame village.
The accused veterinarian is Kumar. Krishna who was ailing had availed treatment at the Government Hospital at Puttur and had returned on May 13 when the veterinarian who was allegedly under the influence of alcohol attacked Krishna who collapsed and died on the spot.
The reason behind the attack is not known.
Dharmasthala police have registered a case.
