Mangaluru/ Udupi, Jun 3, 2026: The city and several other areas in Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts received light to moderate rainfall on Tuesday bringing respite from the sweltering heat.
In its rainfall forecast for the next nine days from June 2, Karnataka State Natural Disaster Monitoring Centre (KSNDMC) said on Tuesday that widespread light-to-moderate rainfall is expected to commence on June 4 and persist through June 5.
A significant intensification in rainfall is anticipated from June 6 to 10, bringing widespread heavy precipitation to the coastal belt.
