Kundapur, Jul 21, 2025: Thieves broke into a house located in the West Block of BB Road in Kundapur on the night of July 18 and made away with gold and silver ornaments worth lakhs.

The house belongs to Rohit, who works in Bengaluru. He had recently visited his hometown and returned to Bengaluru with his family, leaving the house locked. During this time, burglars reportedly broke open the front door lock and entered the house.


Theft


They stole two gold chains, two gold rings, a pair of gold ear studs, two small silver lamps, two silver idols, eight small silver lamps, a silver pot, and ₹10,000 in cash. The total estimated value of the stolen items is ₹1.45 lakh.

A case has been registered at the Kundapur police station.
