Kasargod, June 2, 2025: A Kasargod native working overseas was shot dead in Saudi Arabia.

The deceased is Basheer (42) of Kuttikol Eniyadi. He worked in Saudi Arabia as a taxi driver since 15 years. It is learnt, he was shot dead by assailants while he was cleaning his car on the road near his house on the Raniya-Kuruma Road around 30 km away from Bisha.

The motive behind the attack is not known. Further details are awaited.
