Kadaba, Nov 12, 2021: Police have arrested a youth on the charges of sexually exploiting and impregnating a minor girl who also happens to be his relative. The incident  has been reported from Kodimbala village.

The accused who has been arrested under POCSO is Ramesh. It has been gathered that he was in a physical relationship with the minor since the past one and a half years.  The incident came to light when the girl conceived  recently.

The accused used to visit the girl’s house since April 2020. Recently the girl fell ill and was taken to the Kadaba Community Hospital by her grandmother when the incident came to light. Later, she was taken to Ladygoschen Hospital in Mangaluru where it was confirmed that she was pregnant.
