Health minister inaugurates Christa Jayanthi Kalasangama 2013

Mangalore, Dec 1, 2013: Minister for Health and Family Welfare U T Khader inaugurated the Christa Jayanthi Kalasangama 2013 and Christmas Cultural Competitions in Kannada at Valencia church grounds on Dec 1, Saturday.
The event was organized by Catholic Sabha Mangalore Pradesh and St Vincent Ferrer Church – Valencia unit, in association with Karnataka Christian Education Society (KACES).
Speaking on the occasion, he said that every religion propagates the message of mutual love and trust among people. Such kind of festivals helps in spreading love and builds goodwill between people.
He also said that the programmes organized by the church will encourage the people to follow the path of Jesus Christ who is known for the patience in his work of salvation.
Fr Bonaventure Nazareth, Parish priest of Valencia church presided over the occasion. KACES secretary Dr Hani Cabral welcomed the guests and gathering.
The competitions in Kannada and stage performances gathered huge participants and crowd.
