Mangaluru, June 5, 2024: The State High Court has issued a stay on the case registered against VHP leader Sharan Pumpwell for putting up a provocative social media post with regard to the offering of Namaz on the road in the city.

A case under IPC Column 153(A), 506 was registered against Sharan Pumpwell at the CEN police station in the city. Advocate Arun Shyam argued for Sharan in the High Court.
