Bengaluru, May 2, 2025: Four teams have been formed to investigate the murder of Suhas Shetty that took place in Bajpe on Thursday night. State Home Minister Dr. G. Parameshwara said the accused will be arrested soon.
Speaking to the media in Bengaluru today, the Home Minister stated that Mangaluru was returning to peace, but recent incidents in the Dakshina Kannada (D.K.) district have been alarming. He warned that the government will not spare those responsible under any circumstances.
Appropriate measures have been taken to maintain law and order in the D.K. district, including the deployment of additional police forces. The investigation into Suhas Shetty’s murder has already begun, and the ADGP has been sent to Mangaluru. Dr. Parameshwara confirmed that he has received the preliminary investigation report and assured that the murder accused will not be let off under any condition.
The Home Minister also appealed to the people of Dakshina Kannada to maintain peace.
