Eminent Photographer Yajna chosen for TS Satyan Memorial Award

Mangalore, Dec 13, 2011: Welknown photographer Yajneshwara Acharya, better known as Yajna is chosen for TS Satyan Memorial Award-2011 for Photo-journalism given by Bangalore Based Karnataka Photo News Agency (KPN). This Award will be presented on Sunday 18 Dec 2011 at Raj Bhavan Bangalore at 11.15 am by the Governor of Karnataka.

In his 40 years of photographic career, clicking photographs in natural light remains his first love till date. His works of camera art have been published regularly not only in the local newspapers, but also in national publications like The Illustrated Weekly of India, Onlooker, India Today, The Hindu and Deccan Herald, to name a few.

TS Satyan Memorial Award for Photojournalism comes with a Cash prize of Rs 10,000, certificate and a citation.
