Elections to SVT Management Board held : 3 new Managing Trustees elected

Mangalore, July 29, 2013: M Padmanabha Pai, Adige Balakrishna Shenoy and K Jayaraj Pai have been  elected Trustees of the Sri Venkatramana Temple, Carstreet, for the next five year period. They secured 1,289,  1,383 and 877 votes respectively in the elections to the Management Board held at the Temple premises on July 28, Sunday.

Registration of GSB voters residing in MCC limits and who are 18 years of age  and above, was held from  8 am to 10.30 am followed by elections. Nearly 4,500 GSB community members exercised their franchise.

Advocates  A Amrith Kini and M Premanand Kini were the Election Officers and assisted in the smooth conduct of the election process. Later, outgoing trustees CL Shenoy, Nityanand Nayak and Madhav Kamath handed over charge to the newly elected trustees.
