Mangalore, April 27: A beautiful cruise ship called “Nautica” with American tourists on board touched New Mangalore Port on April 26, Monday. The vessel had set off from the Malaysian Port Kala carrying a crew of 396 and 643 passengers. Owing to its size, beauty, and onboard facilities, the vessel attracted a lot of attention.

The tourists visited St Aloysius Chapel, Kudroli Gokarnanath Temple, Kadri Temple, the cashew industry, the Thousand Pillar Jain Temple in Moodbidri, the Bahubali statue in Karkala, and many other places. 

Krishna Palemar, the district-in-charge minister, and his family visited the ship, spent some time with the crew, and viewed the ship’s restaurants, clubs, play areas, and entertainment zones. 

One of the family members of the minister said that the cruise vessel contained a small city, adding that he would have liked to spend several days inside it. 

The ship was at Mangalore Port for nearly 12 hours, before setting off to Goa.
