Congress candidate Padmaraj assures to strive to strengthen party, congratulates Brijesh Chowta

Mangaluru, June 5, 2024: Padmaraj R, the Congress candidate of DK Lok Sabha constituency who lost against BJP’s Capt Brijesh Chowta, addressed a press meet in the city on Wednesday and congratulated Chowta on his win. He also asserted that he will continue to strive to strengthen the party and thanked all those who extended their support to him.

He thanked the party for choosing him as the candidate and admitted that he could not campaign in some places due to time constraints.

He said he will live up to the expectations of the party and also pointed out that during his campaign he had refrained from criticizing anyone. He also said winning and losing were part of the elections and that he does not consider his defeat as an end but as a beginning.

Party leaders Ramanatha Rai, Shashidhar Hegde, Lancelot Pinto and others were present.
