Mangalore, Aug 18, 2011 : District-in-charge Minister Krishna J. Palemar paid a surprise visit to the taluk office to examine its functioning, following CM Sadananda Gowda’s recent instructions that all pending files should be cleared within 15 days.
Palemar urged the officers and employees of the taluk office not to keep files pending after 15 days and warned that stern action will be taken against any officer or employee who fails to follow these orders.
Later, interacting with reporters, he said that the staff should not cause any inconvenience to the people and that all files should be processed within 15 days. He also told reporters that he has warned the taluk officials that they will be suspended if they fail to follow instructions.
