Cattle thieves shielded, alleges MP Nalin Kumar Kateel

Bantwal, Jan 25, 2014 : Dakshina Kannada MP Nalin Kumar Kateel has alleged that cattle thieves were being shielded in the state by withdrawing the Cattle Slaughter Prevention Act.

Speaking at a party workers meeting held at Vagga in Kavalapadur village  as part of the Gramadege BJP Nadige Padayatra being held under the leadership of Ulepadiguttu Rajesh Naik, the MP said the rising cases of crime against women in  various parts of the nation has proved the inefficiency of the government in providing protection to the  women.

Developmental programmes have taken a back seat under the Manmohan Singh regime, he said and alleged that the UPA Government has failed on all fronts.
