On social media platform ’X’, the Chief Minister shared, "Visited Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala Manjunatha Swamy Temple and offered a special puja for good rains and crops. I prayed for happiness, peace, and prosperity in everyone’s life." He also mentioned meeting women devotees who expressed their happiness with the Gruha Lakshmi scheme, which provides Rs 2,000 to every woman head of the family.

Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar noted that Dharmasthala Dharmadhikari Dr. D Veerendra Heggade praised the State Government’s Shakti scheme, which offers free bus rides for women in RTC buses. Dr. Heggade said the scheme has enabled women from across the state to visit the temple for Lord Manjunatha’s darshan.

The Deputy Chief Minister also mentioned that women devotees appreciated the Gruha Lakshmi scheme. "Their prayers and blessings will give us more strength. Lord Manjunatha will also help us implement the guarantees," he added.

During the visit, some devotees at the Dharmasthala Temple chanted ’Jai Shri Ram’ and slogans in favor of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Due to the high-profile visit, darshan for devotees was halted for over an hour, which angered the devotees, prompting them to shout slogans upon the Chief Minister’s arrival.
