Belthangady: Man arrested for repeatedly raping minor girl

Belthangady, Nov 04, 2021: Belthangady Police have arrested a resident of Nelyady Hosamajalu on the charges of repeately raping a minor girl.
The accused identified as Naufal is an autorickshaw driver by profession. He had reportedly befriended the school going girl in 2018 and after securing her mobile number used to visit her house when others were away. It has been alleged that he had videographed intimate moments with the girl and used it to threaten the girl often to develop physical relationship with her.
A complaint was lodged after the girl informed her parents. The accused has been booked under POCSO.
