Bantwal, Oct 30, 2025: A man from Thumbe village has gone missing after telling his family that he was travelling to Bengaluru and would return soon.

The missing person has been identified as Chennakeshava alias Keshava (37), a resident of Bollary in Thumbe village. His relative, Deekshith, has filed a complaint in this regard.

Missing

Keshava, who worked as a salesman at a private firm in Modankap, reportedly completed his spice product sales route on October 25. Around 2:30 pm, he got off a vehicle at Pumpwell and told the driver that he had other work before returning to the company.

About an hour later, around 3:30 pm, he called Deekshith’s aunt and said he was travelling to Bengaluru for work. He mentioned that his phone battery was low and would be switched off, promising to call again after four days.

However, since then, he has neither contacted anyone nor returned home or to work.

A missing person case has been registered at the Bantwal Rural Police Station.
