Sullia engineer killed in road accident in Andhra Pradesh’s Kurnool

Sullia, Apr 13, 2026: A young woman from Sullia, working as a software engineer in Bengaluru, was killed in a road accident in Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh.

The deceased has been identified as Kshipra (27), daughter of Shashikala Bhat from Kandadka, Sullia. She sustained severe injuries in a car accident that occurred in Kurnool on Saturday night and later succumbed.

Kshipra, who was employed as a software engineer at a company in Bengaluru, had travelled to Andhra Pradesh with her colleagues on a trip when the mishap occurred. The accident reportedly happened after the driver lost control of the vehicle due to drowsiness and crashed into a tree. Three other occupants of the car sustained serious injuries.

Kshipra was the only daughter of Shashikala. She had completed her diploma from KVG College in Sullia and later pursued M.Tech in Nitte. She was working in Bengaluru and living with her mother, sources said.
