Bantwal, Oct 05, 2023: A bike rider has lost his life in a collision between his bike and a car near the Kamaje cross near here on October 4, Wednesday.

The deceased is Srinivas (Babu) of Pangalpady near Vamadapadavu. He was on way to BC Road from Vamadapadavu when the car hit his bike from behind. Though he was immediately rushed to the hospital, his life could not be saved.

The deceased Udupa was a cook and worked for a temple.
