Mangaluru, Oct 05, 2023: A college student was sexually harassed by a stranger while she was boarding a bus on October 4, Wednesday at BC Road bus stand.
The girl was boarding the KSRTC bus when the stranger who was behind her, began harassing her. When the girl objected, he threatened to resort to similar act in the future. The girl immediately informed the bus conductor and there was an altercation between the conductor and the stranger. The girl also informed her family members who soon arrived and then a police complaint was lodged.
It is learnt, the police who swung into action immediately took the accused into custody.
