The purpose of this yatra is to call for good administration and clean politics and to demand the bringing back of black money from Swiss Bank. The yatra also aims to raise public awareness regarding corruption.

Advani will reach Mangalore on Oct 31 Monday and will attend a stage programme at Central Maidan at 10:00 a.m. Mr. C. T. Ravi said that Bantwal and Belthangady will be divided into 30 divisions, adding that 1000 BJP workers will arrive into Mangalore in a padayatra and will participate in the public gathering.
