92.7 BIG FM and Avon Cycles organize rally

Mangalore, Dec 18, 2011: 92.7 BIG FM and Avon Cycles organized Avon Cyclogreen Rally on Dec 18 Sunday. The event was flagged off at Bharat Mall by B. Nagaraj Shetty, the chairman of the Coastal Development Authority (CDA). 

The chief guests were Muthalique, the proprietor of Taj Cycle; Mandeep Singh Pava, the director of Avon Cycles; and Jagadish, the head of 92.7 BIG FM. Mr. Jagadish distributed mementoes among the guests.

 

A large number of students from all over Mangalore participated in the rally, which commenced at Bharat Mall and returned to Bharat Mall via PVS Circle and Lady Hill Circle. 

RJ Varsha led the rally, RJ Errol delivered the welcome address, and Vishwas, the programming head of the 92.7 BIG FM, was the MC. 

The lucky winner of the rally was Manish, a student of Bokkapatna School. He received an Avon Cycle. 

The objective of the rally was to spread the messages of eco-friendliness, the need to protect the earth from pollution, and to keep oneself health and fit.
Each participant received badges and caps from the organizers.
