35 women police personnel asked to work from home: DCP

Mangaluru, April 18, 2021: As many as 35 women police personnel in Mangaluru Police Commissionerate limits  have been asked to  discharge their duties from home from April 30 as a precautionary measure in the wake of rise in Covid cases. DCP Hariram Shanker said  pregnant police personnel as well as those staff who have kids below two years of age have been asked to work from their computer/laptops at home.

Separate kiosks have also been opened  at Police stations for public to lodge their complaints in the wake of many Covid cases in the vicinity of police stations.

It may be recalled here that last year over 300 cops had tested positive in the Commissionerate limits.
