1 dead, 7 injured as KSRTC bus rams into Bolero vehicle near Dharmasthala

Belthangady, Nov 24, 2022: A collision between a KSRTC bus and a Bolero vehicle at Kudraya near Dharmasthala on November 23, Wednesday has claimed the life of one person while seven others have sustained serious injuries.

A family of ten members from Mandya were travelling in a Bolero vehicle to Dharmasthala shrine when the mishap took place. When the vehicle reached Kudraya of Nidle village, the driver parked the vehicle on the right side of the road. Those in the vehicle were about to go to a nearby shop when the KSRTC bus on way to Mysuru from Dharmasthala rammed into the Bolero vehicle and those standing nearby.

The deceased is Mahadeva (63) of Chennasandra in Mandya district. He died on the spot. Five women and a child are among the injured who have been admitted to a private hospital in Ujire.

Belthangady Traffic Police have registered a case.
