2 security staff of cooperative bank found dead in Kerala

Thrissur, April 30, 2024: Two security staff of a cooperative bank were found dead in Kerala’s Thrissur on Monday. The victims were identified as Aravindakshan and Antony, both natives of Vellanikkara in the district.

The bodies were found near the Vellanikkara Co-operative Bank branch within the Vellanikkara Agricultural University campus.

Antony was found lying in a pool of blood with injuries on his head, while Aravindakshan died by suicide by consuming poison near the bank, according to a preliminary investigation.

It is suspected that one of the people killed the person during a conflict and the other later died by suicide. However, police said they were investigating the cause of the incident.

A police team led by the Ollur Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) and Mannuthi Circle Inspector (CI) reached the spot and found the bodies.

The bodies have been sent for post-mortem and police said they will be able to identify the cause of their deaths.
