Bengaluru, Jul 7, 2026: Police rescued a 35-year-old woman who allegedly threatened to jump from the fifth floor of a building with her four-year-old child on July 5, officials said.

A passerby spotted the woman sitting with her child on the fifth floor of a building near Maruthi Dental College in BTM Layout 2nd Stage. She allegedly threatened to jump unless the chief ministers of Karnataka and Tamil Nadu came to the spot and spoke to her. The passerby alerted police through 112.
