An alert staff member prevented a major tragedy at a petrol bunk in Ujjodi. A tanker that was on its way to Thokkottu from Mangalore developed problems when it reached Ujjodi and smoke and flames began emanating from it. However, the driver parked the tanker near the petrol bunk instead of taking it to the garage at the earliest possible.
