World Blood Donor Day observed in KMC Hospital

Mangalore, June 15, 2012: Kasturba Medical College (KMC) Hospital in Mangalore observed World Blood Donor Day by holding a blood donation camp on its premises on June 14, Thursday. MP Nalin Kumar Kateel inaugurated the camp by donating blood.
This year, the World Blood Donor Day is being celebrated along the theme “every blood donor is a hero.” The theme recognizes people who quietly save lives everyday by donating blood and encourages more people to donate blood regularly and voluntarily.
Several organizations, companies, and even the media formed part of this blood donation camp. Over 100 people donated blood on this occasion.
