Woman who killed self in Mangaluru was kidnapped from Assam

Mangaluru, Jan 23, 2022: In a shocking revelation, it has come to light that the women who was found hanged to death at her husband’s residence in Kudroli on Friday, was said to be kidnapped from Assam.
The deceased identified as Sufiya Begum (17) was found dead at her residence on Friday and her husband Swahidul Aslam Lashkar (30), a painter by profession had filed a police complaint.
However, the investigations have revealed that the girl was kidnapped from Assam six months ago by Swahidul who was in love with her.
It is said that the couple had fought on Friday morning after which she was found hanging by a shawl from a window grill.
A case has been registered and further investigations are underway.
