Bengaluru, Jun 26, 2026: The Whitefield Sub-Division police on Friday arrested Kenneth, the co-accused in the sensational K.R. Puram triple murder case, following an intensive four-day manhunt spanning multiple states. He was tracked down and apprehended in Puducherry, where the prime accused, Shwetha, had been arrested earlier.
According to police, Kenneth had been hiding in beach shacks in Puducherry, believing he could evade arrest as such accommodations often do not require guests to produce identity proof, a senior police officer said.
Senior police officials said multiple special teams were constituted immediately after the murders to trace the accused. While one set of teams pursued Shwetha, others focused on Kenneth, using CCTV footage, technical surveillance, and intelligence inputs to track his movements.
Investigators said Kenneth managed to remain on the run after allegedly separating from Shwetha following their escape from Bengaluru on his motorcycle. His arrest brings both key accused in the high-profile triple murder case into police custody.
